What is the difference between Neighbor auctions and Ebay or Facebook Marketplace?
Answer: Unlike Ebay where you have to ship items, or Marketplace where all you get is no responses, no shows, or asked if it’s “still available”, Neighbor Auctions sell items locally with no shipping involved and no going back and forth with aggravating people. When it sells, it sells!
When are the auctions?
Answer: We have auctions running everyday!
Do I need an Account?
Answer: Yes, you need an account to buy and sell with Neighbor Auctions. It is easy and takes only seconds with google login. Creating an account is absolutely free! Get started now!
Does it cost to buy or sell items?
Answer: There is no charge ever to buy items from our auctions. To sell items at auction, there is a 10% commission fee which even includes all credit card transaction fees.
How long is each auction?
Answer: 5 days
Do the auctions have a reserve?
No, there is NO reserves ever on our auctions.
Who is elligible to sell items?
Answer: Currently, you must be a resident of lake or geauga county to submit items for auction.
Is it easy to list my items for auction?
Answer: The best part about Neighbor Auctions is our easy to use, “Nothing but image” 1-step, auction creation process which allows you to get item(s) listed SUPER FAST, by simply uploading a single image of it and you’re DONE. You will need to become a vendor first. Click here to start!
How do I list my items for Auction?
Answer: To list your items for auction, click here. Then once you create your vendor account, just attach an image of each of your items you want to aution off. Lastly, provide your email address associated with your account and type “that’s it”. Your items will then be submitted for the upcoming auction.
How do I pay when I win an auction?
Answer: You pay for winning auctions digitally with your saved payment method, which can be added/deleted by going to payment methods in my account.
